Newbie here

Post by Maccasdad » Fri Jun 05, 2020 7:22 am

Hello
Just registered with this informative forum. Recently acquired a 2017 hrv ex, have previously owned 2 jazz hybrids. Happy so far apart from as a tall driver the internal rear view mirror does not seem to manoeuvre high enough if I am in a raise seating position, sluggish get away from standstill (I am no boy racer) and the contentious topic of a spare wheel.
I am happy really!
Cheers

Hi Geoffrey
Have the same blue as you, nice! Think you resolved your spare wheel issue if I read the posts correctly.

Sure did! I'm carrying the full size spare I bought for my previous HR-V! :)

Welcome. :)

Petrol or diesel?

I had the hybrid Jazz for several years and I realised after I had parted company with it that the little motor provided a useful boost to the low end torque.

Hi John
Petrol automatic, suppose can always slam it into sport mode if I need to get away quickly haha. Jazz is a great little car bur ride a bit stiff compared to the hrv in my experience. Has anyone used the Wheel shop for a space saver wheel, seem considerably cheaper than Cox motors and includes a jack and wrench.
