Multiple lights on dash

Post by Theninjagecko » Thu May 14, 2020 4:08 pm

Hello,

I've got two "i" showing on the dash, then a big VS in orange and then break hold in orange with a box around it.

Any ideas? I've check thebparking break and it seems fine, the hold button doesn't seem to do anything, I've never used that either.

Thanks.

Have you worked through the various threads in this forum viewforum.php?f=11 which relate to warning lights? I've a dim recollection that one related to brake warnings.

Howe old is your HR-V?

Sorry for late reply.

An update:

The faults cleared themselves after battery was charged and drive for a while.

Had my recall ECU update and now the mileage seems VERY good. Drove 10 miles back from Honda on dual carriageway got 78MPG.

Thanks for the update. It's useful to get an explanation of the possible cause. Perhaps some of the sensors are excessively sensitive to low voltage.

While the ECU update may be a factor in getting better mpg, I suspect that the key factor is the warm weather and relatively uncluttered roads (and if the wind was behind you on the way back that would also help).
