COVID 19 UPDATE Honda
UPDATE INCLUDES ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON MANUFACTURER WARRANTY, EXTENDED WARRANTY, SERVICE REQUIREMENTS, SERVICE PLANS, HONDACARE ASSITANCE
Honda Motor Europe is implementing a strategy responding to the challenges presented by the present COVID – 19 Pandemic. Following recent guidance from the government we are considering all aspects of our operation in this rapidly changing environment.
Our top priority is the health and safety of our Associates whilst maintaining as best as possible our ability to support our dealers and customers.
All Honda UK Customer Relations, will be working from home from Wednesday the 18 March 2020.
• ANY CUSTOMER LETTERS RECIEVED WILL BE SUBJECT TO A DELAYED RESPONSE DUE TO OFFICE CLOSURE. WE HAVE ADVISED CUSTOMERS ON OUR WEBSITE AND REQUESTED IF THEY NEED URGENT ASSISTANCE TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER RELATIONS TEAM BY PHONE OR EMAIL.

HONDA SERVICE PLAN, EXTENDED GUARANTEE AND MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
We understand that our customers may have difficulty in getting their products in for service and repair over the coming weeks, this may raise concern for our customers in keeping their Manufacturer Warranty, Extended Guarantee or Service Plans valid. In order to support our customers and reassure them we have taken the following actions:
Honda Service Plans – Car and Motorcycle Only We would advise customers to arrange for their vehicle to be serviced at their earliest convenience once the current COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
Honda Extended Guarantee – In the event a customer cannot gain access for a repair to be completed under their Extended Guarantee and the Extended Guarantee has now expired make contact with one of our dealerships once we re open.
Honda Manufacturer Warranty
In the event customers cannot gain access for a repair to be completed under the Honda Manufacturer Warranty and the fault was not logged with the dealer in the warranty period, we would request the dealer submit an SP “goodwill” claim for consideration.
AA Roadside Assistance – Car and Motorcycle Only
Service continues as normal until otherwise advised. The AA are working hard to maintain staffing levels to ensure customers continue to receive the assistance they require.
Honda Accident Assistance – Car Only
Business as usual. Customers should continue to use the Honda Accident Assistance Helpline in the unfortunate situation an accident occurs.
