Brake Discs & Pads

Post by Honda1chig » Tue Mar 10, 2020 10:37 am

Hi all

Newbie here. I am looking to change brake disc and pads on my 15 plate 1.6 diesel. However I am having problems sourcing rear disc pads.

Has any one had similar problems and if so do you have any tips or recommended suppliers? Trying to avoid the high cost of the Honda dealership.

Thanks

Ben

If you prefer genuine Honda parts then one source is Cox Motor Parts https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/honda/h ... and-discs/ and you can take advantage of a modest discount offered to members of this forum viewtopic.php?f=6&t=286 .

I presume that you've clocked up some serious miles such that these discs and pads need replacing.

;) Only worth replacing the discs if they are near to the minimum thickness allowed
