HRV Warning light

Post by Bob Hornby » Tue Apr 09, 2019 12:04 pm

My 2015 model HRV VTI-S has two yellow warning lights continually showing. One is the "i" symbol for the SYSTEM MESSAGE. The second one is the KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM. I put a new battery in the key fob and the keyless system works OK. So my question is how do I cancel the warning lights?

According to the manual, that is a fault indicator for the Keyless Access System. "Stays on constantly or does not come on at all - Have your vehicle checked by a dealer."

Had similar problem , changed the battery in the fobs , and worked ok for a few days , then the lights came back on permanently , took the car to vertue honda ,and it was a faulty ignition switch , they replaced it on warranty (glad I extended the warranty) as it was over £200 to replace it .
everything great now
