e:HEV Tinted Windows
Not sure why Honda haven't fitted privacy glass as standard to the new HR-V. I suppose its got something to do with keeping the cost down. Picked my Advance Style up on Wednesday and took it back today to get the windows tinted. I think it makes it look so much better.
The dealer charged me £350. Although it was more than I wanted to pay, I thought that if it wasn't a good finish or it started to blister in the warmer weather, at least I could go back to them to get it sorted. I think they used an independent company who do all their window tinting. No doubt the dealer added their bit, hence the higher price.
I get mine done in my dealer's workshop by the company they use but paid the company dirrectly at a cost of £200. I have been dealing with the same dealer principal/general manager in two different dealerships for the last 15 years.
My dealer charged me £350, It makes a big difference to the appearance of the car.

I'm not going to bother, I'd rather spend the money 'wrapping' the fugly grille!

Colin,
I may be wrong but if you can get the grille wrapped I suspect they may have to take the whole bumper off to separate the grille from the bumper to be able to wrap the grille and even then no sure it would look right.
