I have just finished a 30 minute ZOOM presentation by a delightful Honda Lady Called Julia.
You have an interactive discussion, asking questions and talking about the car. She does a presentation which most of us who have ordered will know most of the points about the car. I did hear/see a few things I did not know about.
One thing I did get her to do was PRESS THE HORN! HOORAY!!A PROPER HORN! PEEP-PEEP is dead!
The app has some very useful functions. Let's just hope it works better than Skoda's app.
All in all very impressed.
All we have to do now is sit and wait, because sadly, she said the deliveries will not be before next year!

Went to the above last evening. Well presented by a Honda man.
Car looks fantastic in the 'tin' .
Fits my 6' 16 stone frame well and some very clever gizmos. Heated elements to melt fros=zen wiper blades and even one down the 'A' pillar to melt accumulated snow.
BEST OF ALL........... that bl**y peep-peep horn is GONE, a real BLAST of a horn on the HR-VImage

A lot of rumours going around. Some say a boat is coming with demos and showroom stock (probably true) with some early orders (possibly not true). ETA Bristol 6/10. ETA Southampton 26/10. Currently in Med having left Nicosia yesterday.
Last I heard from Honda employee was January!
Apparently the semi-conductor problem has claimed another victim!

Thank you for your invitations.
I think what we all want (those of us who have already ordered) is timings. There seems to be so many rumours going around.
So far I have been told.....
Boat to Southampton 6Oct and to Southampton 26th Oct containing demos and showroom stock. Two showroom for bigger dealers and one for smaller dealers.
Rumour also says that some early orders (mine ordered 13 August 1st order taken by my dealer) onn that boat.
First deliveries to customer stated late November/early December, now told 22nd January. (semiconductor probs?)
Honda does not appear to be able to organise a drinking party in a brewery with the HR=V launch.
Can YOU shed any light on the above rumours??

Went to the presentation, Car looks really nice. I was told delivery will be sometime in January, But don’t be surprised if it arrives late December. They will honour my part exchange price if car arrives in Jan.
Car won’t have a physical owners manual it’s embedded in the cars entertainment system.

Thanks Douglas, Useful info.
There is a rumour going around that the ship bringing demos and showroom stock (ETA Bristol 6/10.Southampton 26/10) just MAY have some early orders on board. I'll believe it when my dealer rings me up and tells me it's arrived!!
Interesting about the manual being in the info/T. All well and good as long as you don't get a fault or a flat battery, then you B8gg@red!
