Re: New HR-V Owner

Maybe trim the tree branches back a little? They're quite a big vehicle. Some may suggest not a good idea, but when passing/shopping I do take the (mrs') car into the self car wash bay. Asda's gets the car a hot detergent wash and a pressure rinse for a couple of quid. If the car's clean she's happy...

Re: Hi From Tayside -

Many of these 'reviewers' are a joke, quite likely following on some other journalist's comment. It's horses for courses-a HRV isn't a sports car. The vehicle with this gearbox makes for effortless, economical motoring, with more than enough power/performance (i'd) expect from this type. With an aut...

Re: Bush for HRV 2016

Yes, you're right. The wishbones are out of stock from Hadleys Taxi's link. (aftermarket-meaning manufactured as a replacement/alternative to that supplied by Honda) If it were just the bottom ball joints in each wishbone worn they're available from eurocarparts, but if either of the 2 bushes in eac...

Re: Bush for HRV 2016

From Hadleys Taxi's links, looks like the bottom wishbones complete are around the £100 mark each side. Gen Honda assume would be more, plus of course there's labour charge to fit plus the vat. Soon ads up! As a DIY type, for me, it would be the aftermarket wishbones and fit myself. Maybe an indepen...

Re: Hello HRVers

Hi Car looks very smart in the colour choice (Nice shape anyway for a suv) Ours is the auto and yes, no sporting pretences, but does the job very well. Just returned from Brighton back to Nottingham averaging 50mpg . The auto box plus the cruise control made the journey a doddle with progress effort...

Re: Just about to buy - Need some help!

Hi. I would say no. Our '67 plate SE has sat nav but was sold as an SE Nav. I looked specifically for an SE Nav rather than SE.

If the seller's claiming he or she's not sure you could reasonably make a presumption it has'nt - you could'nt find it!
