Re: Space saver wheel

Not on just this topic, but on the forum in general, there is so much duplication because people open new topics without first carrying out a search. It is easy to perform a site specific search from within Google by entering something like the following in the search criteria: site:hrvforums.co.uk ...

Re: Infotainment screen completely black with 3. party keyless module

I took it to a Honda repair shop who said the unit worked fine in another car, and it must be something wrong with the installed keyless module . I agree, it looks like the keyless entry unit is not telling the infotainment system that the alarm has been disabled. Did you try locking and unlocking ...

Re: Speed Alarm Warning and Cruise Control

On page 424 of the Owners Manual for Cruise Control it states: You cannot use the cruise control and adjustable speed limiter or intelligent speed limiter * at the same time. . That is true but does not include a speed alarm. I have one set for 75 and everything else still works fine. So yes, you h...

Re: Batteries & Stop Start

With the CVT (2019 face lift, made in Japan) model, I generally tend to only apply sufficient pressure to the foot brake in order to get the 'brake hold' to activate. Unless I will be stopped for some time, then I press the brake a little harder to activate the auto stop before releasing it. If you ...

Re: EX wheel size & alloys query

I've got a 68 plate (2019 face lift model) EX and like the OP's it is fitted with 17” wheels, with 215/55 R17 tyres and plain alloys. I have no issues with the comfort of the ride and they are easy to keep clean.

Re: Digital Radio Reception

I'm pretty certain you can play your internet radio via the cars Bluetooth system. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, open your Internet Radio app, select Bluetooth audio and you should be away. I just went out to my vehicle to see if I could get Amazon Music to play via Bluetooth, and it worked per...

Finally, if possible, I would appreciate if we have a small phone chat on this topic. I do not see how I can send you a private message in this forum so you can send me your phone by mail if you wish and I will call you back. My mail address is xxxxxxxxx@gmail.com . I would edit your post and remov...

I might be imagining it but I think Honda added active noise cancelling to the current production as a way round this constraint.

Yes they did John. I'm not sure how effective it is as I have nothing to compare it with and I don't think you can disable it.

Re: Second Hand Expectations

I'm really not sure how much the cosmetic aspects are covered by the Honda Approved Used Vehicle scheme but putting those aside, I am fairly confident that any mechanical or electrical defects should be covered. The Front Seat Passenger Head Restraint locking mechanism being defective is in my opini...
