Re: Second Hand Expectations

And due to them fitting the dog guard for vehicles fitted with the flexible tonneau cover instead of the parcel shelf, I got them to exchange the parcel shelf for the flexible cover which I was going to have to purchase anyway due to nearly always having dogs in the boot, and I would still have to ...

The engines themselves are probably shipped in
The 1.6 diesel engine is built in Swindon , that is the only factory that builds that engine.

Engine was built in Swindon and shipped to Mexico to be installed into the vehicle. US does not take diesel Honda models.

Hi Steve
What's the daylight saving setting for ? Thanks!
Changing the hour backward and forwards for BST, you don't need to change the actually clock time just toggle this setting.

For Honda connect equipped (with/without navigation) there is in the settings menu a daylight saving setting that needs to be changed manually, on in spring and off in autumn

Re: USB Ports Not Charging Accessories

The ignition or accessory position has to be on for power to be at the USB ports, the audio can be turned on for a set period without the key, this would then power the USB ports, but will power off to save the battery after a set time. Re: Upgrading Stock Head Unit to Navi

You don’t use HDS to code the audio, you need the unlock code so the unit will register your vehicles VIN into the unit, which it will read from the engine ECU.

That code needs to come from the audio unit Supplier (D-TEN) via a Honda dealer/ Honda dealer technical support.

Re: Upgrading Stock Head Unit to Navi

Thanks for the info Steve. It will be great if I could have some guidance on unlocking the head unit. You will need to give the serial number to a European dealer and they would have to request the audio code from Honda. The unit will be VIN locked to the original vehicle and until it gets the audi...
